Best Madison Happy Hours

Postby Villanelle » Fri Apr 03, 2009 6:23 pm

I haven't been in Madison too long, so could you help out this thirsty fledgling. Lets hear your favorite happy hour joint and the details.

The best I've found so far is Old Fashioned - 2 for 1 drinks and
Fresco 5's-$5 wine, drinks, small plates and desserts.

Orpheum, hands down, taps/rails are $3, martinis are $5, bottles of wine half off, and yummy complimentary munchies. Plus their staff is always good-natured and fun.

High Noon is great also, two for one drinks, lovely on the patio in warmer weather.

At Genna's we do 40% off taps and rail drinks which makes for pints of Cow at just under two dollars and martinis at $2.70. Plus, Jameson soaked mini-weinies, Buffalo wings, spicy meatballs, chips, salsa, and veggies for free. Combine that with a great outdoor patio, the weirdest regulars on the planet, some super-snarky service, and bar dances from the owner and you've got yourself a good time. Come to us, New Guy. Come and we will teach you.
