I've been really enjoying hot chocolate with a healthy dose of B&B. It's for grown-ups!

Summit Extra Pale Ale from the keg that stands outside the icehouse, Jack Daniel's inside the icehouse. It is almost Eelpout Festival time, and I am reminiscing.

Whenever I get cold I drink a bottle of Night Train and it warms me right up. Speaking of which, I have not yet been able to find it in Madison. I don't know why because I've seen plenty of homeless people since I moved up here.

My current version:

2 cups whole milk
1.5 Tbs Cocoa powder
~ 2 Tbs sugar
Dash of Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
Pinch of cayenne

Add dry ingredients and vanilla, whisk in a drizzle of milk until you make a paste. Heat gently while whisking and drizzling until the paste has thinned. Whisk in the rest of the milk and heat to a gentle froth.
