Right. The fact that it can be pronounced as a word is what makes it an acronym.
Henry, you can cite all the lazy "also:" definitions you like to suggest that acronym can stand in for initialism, but that doesn't make it right. (Just like "impact" as a fucking verb. It's correct these days... but it ain't right.)

I HATE "prolly". I want to slap all of these people. They tend to be the same ones who repeatedly use "teh" for "the". I can understand a typo, but not teh. It's not even shorter; it just makes them look like a dumb ass.
