Horses on the Beltline!

Postby auntgoodness » Tue Mar 20, 2007 1:35 pm

Seriously. Unless all my coworkers are playing a joke on me, some guy is pulling a wagon using horses on the Beltline. He passed our Old Sauk area building about ten minutes ago going East into town. Bunches of folks here saw it but I missed it.

Flickerheads, I'm counting on you...

And beyond? Like in trans-fucking-Atlantic or what.

What's the point? The fact that he has a established a paypal account for donations, seems like he's raising money for himself, and perhaps is looking to cut a movie deal given the past success of The Straight Story.

Well, the beltline must suck... but on the other hand, they're working, and they have each other and the dogs and their owner for constant companionship, which probably puts them in better straits than a lot of horses owned as pets.

Thanks, buckyor.

I am quite the midwestcentric fuck.

I vow, I solemnly swear to you, buckyor, that from this day forward I shall, ever and always, remember the Maine.

As if anyone gives a flying motherfuck about Maine. Most schoolchildren don't even know it exists, no sitting president has even been there since Calvin Mother Fucking Coolidge, and its main export is yarn spun out of moosehair. Seriously, for most Americans, Boston is is the easternmost tip of the US. It goes from west to east: water, California, Denver, Madison/Chicago, New York/Boston, water.
