What are the things that puzzle, enrage, delight and tickle you as you go about your life in Madison?

I also like Illinois's quarter with the connection of the farmland and Chicago skyline with their favorite son in the middle. My favorite is Kentucky's with the Thouroughbred (sp?) in the pasture. It is very simple and exudes Kentucky (and no mention of D. Boone!). Of course, I am a Kentucky native--be it ever so humble. Then, of course, is Massachusetts. It provided one of the best bad jokes ever (Do you know what type of horse he's riding? A quarter horse.--hahahahahahahahahaha)
Maybe we should have had the Vitamin D molecule?
Granted, there are several well-designed quarters. Illinois' quarter is really pretty well done -- Lincoln even looks REAL tall. Kentucky plasted that giant "Old Home Place" in behind the horse, cluttering it all up.
I'm really not very critical about these things -- so, forgive my rant:
It was only intended as some good clean humour.

p.s. I like the Moon Man Quarter as well
Dear, Mr. Fun,
The Indy Car doesn't move! Just like the maple sap in vermont's frozen tableaux.
For the record, I had not meant to pick on Indiana, but just point out my dissatisfaction with the level of imagination/creativity with WISCONSIN's design choices.
And, it was all meant to be funny. And not serious. Even some of the coins I criticized, I liked.
Wisconsin could have gone with a towering white pine, a background lake, and maybe a loon. With a Harley!!!
(The loon symbolizing our state identity.)
Ok, scratch the Harley.
