Great site. Get it while it lasts...

Here's a clip of Jane's Addiction front man Perry Farrell with drummer Stephen Perkins and some help.

The cool part is, I was part of the help.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mc6_cyb3J6I

I'm framed in the shot for most of the clip, just behind Stephen. This was from, like, 10 years ago in San Francisco.

Ah, the wonders of the Internet.

Here is a great clip of the 1983 incarnation of the jazz-fusion band, Weather Report, doing a spritely version of "Volcano For Hire". Dig the audience reaction shots!

here are the Nicholas brothers, dancing to Eubie Blake and his Orchestra in 1932's "Pie Pie Blackbird" - just 2:34, be sure to catch the bizarre end:

for a better tap-dance related clip - here's Raymond Scott and his Quintette, first alone - killer camera work - then backing up 2 dancers:

Scott was ahead of his time musically and electronically... He is one of my heroes.

Scott's drummer {wow what a great skin kit} is Johnny Williams Sr., father of John Williams Jr., the guy who wrote all the Star Wars music and is one of the most successful of the current American Hollywood composers.

Nice!

I think his accident was before he met Mary. His right elbow looks pretty locked in the clip anyway.

How about some ukulele?

and some Ribot

I'm guessing bari. But I'm far from a uke expert.
