I've watched at least parts of this 6 times in the last month.

Midnight Run makes my list, too.

This topic could quite possibly spawn many offspring threads.
Think how many times you have seen these movies in parts. I mean, I must have seen Jaws at least 80 times, if I was able to connect all the partial viewings of it. That's the thing with cable television, you can watch a movie countless times over a period of time but never have actually watched the movie from start to finish.
I also find it funny how I will actually own the movie but get hung up watching the edited version with commercials on television. Goodfellas is a great example of this. I will flip back and forth to it to catch certain scenes (heavily edited) when I own the dvd.
Anyway, a couple more to add, all of which I love but none of which are faves:

Goonies
E.T.
Office Space

So true. I rarely buy dvds anymore. Even when I own them, I watch tidbits of the edited TV versions more than I sit through an entire dvd viewing. Something to do with all the sports and poker I watch on TV.

There's some creepy man-girlchild bonding in that movie. Come of think of it, it happens in a few Jean Reno films. My favorite Jean Reno film is The Big Blue (which, incidentally is by the same director, Luc Besson, as Leon).

I saw The Bank Job last night for the first time and really liked it. I will have to see it again.

One film I have to watch if I see it while flipping through the channels is Yojimbo.
