Local independent film group WIS-KINO to throw it's bi-annual 48-HOUR FILMMAKING KABARET challenge!
FRIDAY, APRIL 18th at 7:00pm KABARET KICK-OFF SCREENING - Sundance Cinema North Lounge
SUNDAY, APRIL 20th at 7:00pm KABARET FINAL SCREENING - Sundance Theatre 2
Friday, April 18th at 7pm, regular monthly screening with optional theme of "Angst/Popsicles/War" will be held in Sundance's North Lounge. Cover for this screening will be the usual $2-6 sliding scale. Anyone can bring a film to screen or just come to watch. If you want to participate in the Kabaret, you'll need to either be present for this screening (for sign-up and theme assignment) or make special arrangements by emailing Wis.Kino.Films@gmail.com. Sign-up is free. At the end of this screening, Kabaret filmmakers will pick their unique "special ingredient" for their film out of a hat (this is a bit different than how we've done things in the past). Everyone then runs off to make their film in 48-hours!
Sunday, April 20th at 7pm, we'll meet in Sundance's Theatre 2 to screen all of the Kabaret films. $4 cover at the door for everyone.
All films must be 5 minutes or less in length and presented on either DVD or miniDV format. Original work, please. Sundance Cinemas are located at 430 N. Midvale Ave in Hilldale Mall.
