MMoCA Design show

Wow this was a crap show. $15 to see furniture showrooms. OK, 3 designers actually did more than match their sofas to the art, but just 3 interesting out of 17? Sad to say but the brochure was the best part, and it was free.

Warhol is always such a tease.

The installation with the Chuck Close portrait was groovy. Nice grid work. But the furniture around the Luis Jimenez was just embarassing. He was a chicano artist, not "western."
