Internet Radio - how to play in the house?

Postby bdog » Sat Oct 23, 2010 8:20 am

Just "discovered" Pandora radio and am going to subscribe. My question is: what is the best way to place this, as well as my Itunes music, throughout the house?

Do I get wireless speakers for my computer?

Do I get a special device?

I want to avoid having to dock my Ipod Nano to anything, preferring to play music from the computer.

Thanks for any info.

I have a long cable hooked to my stereo, with two audio jacks on one end and a single coax connector on the other. I attached a coax-headphone adapter to it, and when I want to listen to kpig.com throughout the house, I just plug it into my laptop's headphone jack, and enjoy.

I have a couple of cheap speakers wired up in the basement as B speakers, so I can enjoy it down there too.

How much money are you willing to spend? The Sonos system is amazing, but it ain't cheap:
