Why is there a Town of Madison?

No longer a town issue- it was annexed by Maple Bluff. It would seem counterproductive for them to knock back closing time, as it appears that nabbing drunks on Sherman after 11pm is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Late night Vic Pierce is a wonderful sociological sludge pot. Plus, I'm on their wall of shame for having a fake ID.

I'm pretty sure Vic Pierce's was in the Town of Burke before the Bluff swallowed it.

And I don't think you need to worry about Maple Bluff cutting back on the VP's hours. A number of years ago, I lived in the Bluff and when I went to VP for the first time, I found out that those with a Bluff address could set up a charge account. Pick up your booze, no money changes hands, sign for it, get a bill at the end of the month.

I paused for a moment and, for reasons I need not recite, I decided it was NOT a good idea to have an open account at a nearby liquor store.

I don't know if VP still has that arrangement.
