2) It was NOT all about sister Elliot. It was what mostly what De Vega had to say, thanks PJ for commenting on this.
3) What struck me about the bit with Sister Elliot was that it reminded me that the catholic church of my past had a stern interest in social justice, as nun'y as it might be.
4) I often relate things I find painful here in a vague way with the hope hope others will pick it up. The results of this approach to the hive have been mixed. I think I should re-work this approach.
See, now if you had given us points 2 & 3 above, then we would have a sense of what you found interesting about the link, and why we might want to look at it. Points 1 and 4 in the summary above go to situation and motive, which might or might not be important for us to decide to follow the link.
The main problem I have with your posts is the many unclear referents. A post that contains a link you find interesting with no explanation beyond "lookit this, guys!" is one example. Another is your tendency to say things like "If this bothers you..." without it being clear what "this" points to. Using the construction "if this [whatever it is] bothers you...", like "if this attitude toward the poor bothers you...," may be the only way we have of knowing what you're talking about. This is especially true in a forum discussion, where the referent may have been established in your mind by some other poster some ways back--but we can't read your mind. We can only read your posts.
