This thread makes me want to do drugs and watch Rocky Horror Picture Show all night....again.

My meatloaf recipe uses three kinds of meat, molded into a heart shape and served with stewed tomatoes and basil.

The Meatloaf saga takes a bizarre twist:

Two names, one man. A hybrid. Half Meatloaf, half Segal.

I grew up loving my mother's meatloaf. somewhere in life I became confused and became a vegetarian, yet still hunted and fished (I was opposed to how animals are treated, not eating them). Many years later, my wife started making her own meat loaf. shhhhh, don't tell anyone but, my wife's meatloaf is INCREDIBLE!!!!! It makes my mom's look like a soft adobe brick.

anyway, definitely a fan!

Meat Loaf revealed in a recent interview that he was paid a meager sum of $1,000 to sing on Ted Nugent‘s 1976 Free for All album.

Alas, meatloaf season is coming to an end.

Bought ice cream the other night.

Meatloaf is dead; long live ice cream.

I'm making a meatloaf tonight, and I don't even have any ice cream in my freezer (though I do have a pint of rainbow sherbet).

Meatloaf is wonderful in large part because it's hard to screw up. As long as you have a few basic ingredients your meatloaf will survive whatever experiments you put it through.

pjbogart's boring but delicious meatloaf:

2 lbs ground beef
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 of an onion, finely chopped
2 green onions, finely chopped
2 stalks of celery cut to about 1/4" slices
Canadian steak seasoning

I cook my meatloaf in a bread pan at 325 degrees and take it out after about 45 minutes to drain the excess fat and liquid. Another 30 minutes should finish it, but honestly I just turn off the oven and eat it when I get around to it.

When when I got my yearbook at the end of senior year in high school (a Catholic school in 1966) my classmates and I signed each others. One of my joker friends wrote: "Don't let your meatloaf." I dreaded showing the yearbook to my parents, but they made no comment.
