Get well soon, Blunt.

Anyone doing a benefit show or organizing a collection yet? Isthmus, maybe a mention in print when it comes together?

I thought this was a joke, too!
But an appearance from C_Schick and a post from Flanders that was actually funny has driven home the gravity of the situation.

Heal thyself, Blunt!

I'm not trying to be a jerk but, according to my sources, he slipped on the ice at 15 W Main Street and fell on the curb by the bus stop. He was not hit by a car, which is good.

Falling on ice is bad anyway you cut it. Broken bones suck. Get well soon!!!

I can neither confirm nor deny that information.

However, I believe it is possible Jason is alien infiltrator of our life and culture as part of the master plan to subjugate the human race by a hyper-intelligent extraterrestrial reptilian life form and turn the Earth into a mass food source for their planet.

Hmmm. I guess you cant' believe everything you read on facebook...His profile the other day said that he was trying to get out of the way of a car that was skidding, he slipped and got clipped by the car. Maybe I misunderstood. Anyway, he has had a significant physical trauma caused by ice, directly or indirectly.

There was no mention of any car by my source who spoke with him. My intent was not to cast an aspersion on truthfulness but rather to let everyone know he was not smoked by a car and run over. When I hear "mowed down", I think this:

And clearly, we know Blunt was not clad in spandex, participating in a bicycle race in Mexico on Thursday. I'm just saying...not mowed down, thankfully!

Okay, now I think we are close to historical accuracy.
Thanks again, Walter. I wonder if Blunt has seen all these lovely well wishes from everyone.

I was going to give another 'Get well soon', but I don't like the 'soon' portion of that sentiment. It sounds pushy.
So get well, and if it takes you an extra week or so to recover, enjoy the time off of day to day life!

Sweet. I deserve to spanked.
As for my fleshbucket, it has survived but with strange "clicking" sounds in the rear ribcage area....
And I can't quite flip the bird so much as just sort of prop it up at an angle.
And my wrist?
Now I can tell if we'll have good crops this year.
