6-10 inches of snow? why? why?

The thought of having to deal with 6-10 inches of wet, cold snow and cold, wet winds has me in a state of mind that, ah...leaves me in a state of???...that makes, um...fuck it...why???

Because the bourbon distillers need an April boost in sales? Sounds like at least a good excuse.

Exactly! I'd just cleaned and put my boots away, along with my coat etc. They wait by the door now...next to a box of flower seeds...

Quit your whining. We had 17 inches this past Thursday.

What's with all the fascination with 6-10 inches? Huh? What's wrong with 1-2 inches? All I hear about is 6-10 inches this, 6-10 inches that. Well, 1-2 inches can be significant. Fuck 6-10 inches. It's not all about 6-10 inches goddamnit. 1-2 inches matter.

Great, that means Stephen King cranked off at least 1 more book.

Yeah, I got a tease email from my sister-in-law, in Phoenix, this morning, along with an invitation. Uh,uh, I'm still not envious.

I'm going to curl up into the fetal position in front of my SAD UV light therapy lamp and think sweet spring thoughts.

Why? Because its Wisconsin's annual post-spring-tease snowstorm. Happens every year. Sometimes 4 or 5 times.

This doesn't bode well for my reseeding of bare spots on my lawn I did a week or two ago.

I'm sick of shoveling. I'm getting a flame-thrower.

I remember doing the Crazylegs run in late April in the mid-1990s and we got about 8" that day.
