Is our children learning?

Postby Ned Flounders » Sat Mar 04, 2017 10:05 am

Three Donald Trump tweets in 4 minutes:

#1 misspells "hereby" as "hear by"

#2 complains about kids not getting a good education

#3 replaces #1, changing the spelling to "hearby" ... which is still wrong

Four years cannot possibly end too soon.

Trump would appoint himself president for life, if he could. But that might be a lot shorter than eight years.

The secret lies in exposing the unhinged floundering of the left.

You have literally never, not once, posted a single thing of value here. Nearly 5500 posts and essentially every one of them is worthless. You can't even manage to be wrong in an interesting or novel way! It's an astonishing record of inane boring crap.

For once in your life, do something worthwhile. Delete your account, shut down your computer and go read a book or something.

Nobody lives forever; do you want your epitaph to be "Here lies Roy, a man whose greatest accomplishment in life was injecting over 5000 badly written and uninteresting comments onto an internet discussion forum where nobody cared about his drivel"?

A quote from your link: "You can make any public figure sound like a boob, if you record everything he says and set hundreds of hostile observers to combing the transcripts for disfluencies, malapropisms, word formation errors and examples of non-standard pronunciation or usage... Which of us could stand up to a similar level of linguistic scrutiny?"

I see. How long did it take (months/years) you to read all 5500 posts. You are a fake. Unreliable.

I doubt anyone familair with the English language could ever compete with this...

http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_ ... hisms.html

"I'm telling you there's an enemy that would like to attack America, Americans, again. There just is. That's the reality of the world. And I wish him all the very best."—Washington, D.C., Jan. 12, 2009

"As yesterday's positive report card shows, childrens do learn when standards are high and results are measured."—New York, Sept. 26, 2007

"I didn't grow up in the ocean—as a matter of fact—near the ocean—I grew up in the desert. Therefore, it was a pleasant contrast to see the ocean. And I particularly like it when I'm fishing."—Washington, D.C., Sept. 26, 2008

"In this job you've got a lot on your plate on a regular basis; you don't have much time to sit around and wander, lonely, in the Oval Office, kind of asking different portraits, 'How do you think my standing will be?' "—Washington, D.C., March 16, 2005

"I'm honored to shake the hand of a brave Iraqi citizen who had his hand cut off by Saddam Hussein."—Washington, D.C., May 25, 2004

It's a pretty rich catalogue. I was lucky to make it 1/3rd of the way down... : )

Depends on how familair(sic) you are with the King's English. One name rings the dingy right away. I think Mr. Joseph Biden competes admirably with Mr. Bush. Maybe even takes the cake.
