outstanding....glad to hear some people are still willing to stand up for what is right.

However, this makes me wonder...Have we heard any reports of people resigning from the Dem Party 'cause of all the ballot-access games they are playing?

Games? Democrats filed challenges to flaws in Nader's application. The Naderites misrepresented which Congressional District someone lived in and the Democrats called him on it.

Why there should be a different standard for Nader than everyone else is a mystery. Given that Nader's supporters have pushed Cobb off the ballot as the Green candidate in some states, you're the last bunch who should be whining.

Typical, though, of lefties to focus thir fire on others on the left side of the spectrum and give a pass to the Republicans.

One way to stop voter intimidation is to get TROs against people/organizations who do this. This from South Dakota:

Associated Press

A former state Republican Party worker accused of intimidating a voting group's workers at Pine Ridge says they've fingered the wrong guy.

Yesterday, the Four Directions Committee got a temporary restraining order against the state G-O-P and Ryan Knutson. The group accuses him of intimidating its workers at Pine Ridge by videotaping them on private property.

But Knutson says he's never been to the reservation. He says he worked for the state G-O-P party for a few months, then quit in September.

Four Directions spokesman Bret Healy says the group has the right person. He says one of the group's workers positively identified Knutson as the one who videotaped and trespassed.

This is from another thread. Seems appropriately "catalogued" here. A good listen. (Wish I could play it on a radio while walking. Do IPods do realmedia?)

Onion predicts Republican dirty tricks. Not a hard call to make!

VOTER SUPPRESSION WATCH: UNFUNNY BECAUSE IT'S TRUE EDITION. Headline in last week's Onion:

"Republicans Urge Minorities To Get Out And Vote On Nov. 3."

Flyer distributed in Columbus, Ohio during the past few days:

"Democratic voters are asked to vote at your assigned location on Wednesday."

Read the post for more.
