In case you didn't notice, Roy, most of us have, at some point, had someone take our posts too seriously, or have taken someone else's post too seriously, or both.
The nature of written communication is that non-verbal cues to jokes and sarcasm don't exist.
Blaming it on politics is a bit churlish.

My apologies. Sorry you were offended.

I thought the proper word for right-wingers talking to lefties was "triggered"

Oh, I am joking, just in case.

You do know there is an International Men's Day later in the year.

Why don't you give us your examples of how you were treat on Women's Day when you use to dress like a woman? Did you get dirty looks or were you accepted?

I was accepted. Many were shocked when I switched back. Some thought I was switching F to M.

Sorry, I guess I should have used a /sarc
But assumed it was understood. With little sense of humor on the left, I should have known better.

And I thought you'd have more empathy or maybe you got tired of being mistreated and took the easy way out.

Wouldn't last a day if that was so.
However how is it, that you want to belittle me at every turn, but yet expect pleasant rejoinders from me?

Hundreds seems to understate it, seems more like at least a couple of thousand.

And note that parents in Wisconsin can excuse their kids for ANY REASON WHATSOEVER for up to 10 days per year. That was originally to accommodate hunting seasons. I am planning to excuse my kids for a day to get an earlier start on spring break, for example. I have also taken kids out of the schools for cultural holidays.

Not the 100,000 seen in January. I guess that means 98,000 people heard about my posts and decided not to show up.

Uh, that was a joke, just in case.

I'm not trying to belittle you at all. I simply mean that it seems strange to me, that having been treated as a woman, that experience did not give you more compassion and empathy.

Perhaps, like Tiresias, the treatment wasn't unpleasant.

Not saying that Roy's adventures were the same as Tiresias.

Perhaps if I received compassion and empathy on this forum, it would make a lot of difference.

Many if not most here have not to give in return.
