The details of this thing don't matter so much. Once you go down the path of searching for "Tea Party" for any purpose, the IRS is screwing up.
IF, and that's a giant IF anything "wrong" occurred, it was purely at a process level and should never have left the office, let alone make national news.
And for the record: less than ONE THIRD of the questionable applications reviewed by the IG were from conservative groups; they got off EASY. But again, let's not let this FACT persuade anyone.
