We already killed off the zombie idea there was any way to rescue the victims. Two or four troops parachuting in (or however they might have arrived) wouldn't have helped any, and would have likely cost the lives of those troops right along with the diplomat-CIA lives. Flying fighter planes overhead hours or days later wouldn't have helped either (what's the point of that?) and might have resulted in losing those planes and their crew.

Got anything else? An interdimensional rescue team from Sirius?

Any you know this how General snoqueen? If you knew anything about the military you would realize the ignorance of your statement.

For your information Woods and Doherty who were fighting from a roof painted the enemy with lazer. This allows the fighter plane to lock onto that target and destroy it.

Unfortunately it also allows an enemy, if they have the equitment, to lock onto their position.

Snoqueen's statement was ignorant?

You've just proven that you hold the same cartoonish idea of military abilities that Issa, Hicks and most others involved in this witch hunt hold.

"The Benghazi attack consisted of military assaults on two separate U.S. diplomatic compounds. The first assault occurred at the main compound, at about 9:40 pm local time (3:40 pm EDT, Washington DC). The second assault took place at a CIA annex 1.2 miles away at about 4 am the following morning."

Ok tell me what was wrong, or cartoonish in my statement? Or are you just taking wacks because you have nothing to add?

Your entire statement was cartoonish. You're suggesting air strikes were a viable option. "Painted the enemy with lazer." Declared non-viable by the military and intelligence communities in America, but you know better. GMaMFB.

You are correct, there is no excuse for Issa's ignorance. He should know better. Maybe he does know better, but decided to pursue the issue anyway, for political reasons.

Snoqueen from a parallel continuum

Because I understand the impossibility of a thousand mile per hour jet going a thousand miles in an hour what with time zones and all and we'd have to call the President of Libya and he's still touchy over that Susan Rice thing.

So are you saying they should have blown up the consulate? With more Americans inside?

No no no! Didn't you hear, we have laser-guided bullets now: we can send fighter jets thousands of miles to kill individual terrorists, as long as we have someone on site to paint them lasers.
