Ya, but I can see calling a guest on his show a cocksucker could be poor etiquette. But a guy harassing his family?

I think the press is homophobic for considering "cocksucker" a slur.

One could, if one was able. Others would merely suggest that some might do it.

"It's been a tough year for the liberal cable news outlets.
Data released Tuesday show CNN shedding 48 percent of total viewers since last November and MSNBC dropping 45 percent.
The numbers were even worse in the all important demographic of people aged 25 to 54 as CNN's ratings dropped 59 percent and MSNBC's 52 percent.
As the site notes, last year was a presidential election year, so some decline was inevitable. But:
FNC is only down 18 percent since last November and 30 percent in the demo. (snip)
FNC was second in all of cable in prime time this November averaging over 2 million viewers. This represented a decline of 21 percent in total viewers and 41 percent in the demo.
In other words, the shift of cable news viewers away from liberal CNN and radical left (Forward!) MSNBC is considerable. Unlike monopoly newspapers, cable news viewers have a choice, and they are finding that those who uncritically supported Obama are less trustworthy and therefore are changing their viewing habits.
Unmistakably, there is a trend here. The Bard was correct: Truth will out."

The link goes to a site that does not have the liberal seal of approval, nevertheless the numbers are real. Let's see if they can deal with the message.

CNN is liberal?

Ya know, conservatives screw themselves with the delusion that FOX news represents mainstream America. I'm glad that conservatives see CNN as the enemy, they have a very, very long enemies list.

Classing CNN and MSNBC together immediately discredits the source and argument. There is no comparison.

On edit: What Huck said.

What's your real issue Schultz, are you still disappointed that Glenn Beck doesn't have a national TV audience anymore?

Martin Bashir Resigns From MSNBC

Martin Bashir has resigned from MSNBC, he announced in an email posted by Mediaite on Wednesday.

Bashir had been under fire for weeks after making highly incendiary comments about Sarah Palin.

I believe the preferred term around here is "thrown under the bus."

Yes, literally. Martin Bashir was an unknown, uncharming host who will not be missed by anyone.

"“Biased” doesn’t cut it. To watch MSNBC for an afternoon is not so much to be given a slanted account of what is happening here in America, but instead to witness a series of discussions about current events in parallel America II — a rather silly place in which the political center of gravity and all things Good are defined by the preferences of the faculty at Berkeley and the comments section of the Daily Kos and in which anyone who dissents from this position is believed to possess two heads, a black heart, and a pocket copy of Mein Kampf.

America II, as anyone who watches the channel will discover rather swiftly, hosts a supermajority of well-meaning multi-culti, progressive types whose foolproof plans for explosive economic growth, uniform social justice, and general human utopia are constantly being undone by a blossoming white-supremacist movement, split apart by neo-secessionists, and existentially threatened by traitors whose defining characteristic is a never-quite-explained hatred for progress. America II features no gray areas whatsoever: All local variation is apartheid, each and every identification requirement is the second coming of Jim Crow, all criticism of the government is sedition. It’s exhausting.

Hour by tedious hour, America II is saved from its own worst instincts. What destroyed Detroit, a city that has been run into the ground by Democrats for half a century? “Republicans” and “capitalism,” naturally. A pressing question? “Are conservatives the new Confederates?” A topic worthy of Chris Matthews’s investigation? Whether Sarah Palin can actually read. It’s like watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 — just less realistic.

Perhaps the most startling thing about the network is that one doesn’t need to even infer or twist anything in order to wallow in the gratifying stupefaction that its hosts just said what they just said. There is an entire cottage industry on the Internet that is dedicated to putting words in the mouths of cable news personalities — indeed, in recent weeks I have been featured in a couple of modest contributions myself. But with MSNBC, no such mendacity is necessary. No clever editing. No false contexts. One can just read the transcripts. They meant to say that."

That was some insightful thinking on your part Rich. Oh, wait, another cut and paste job. I truly believe you can't think for yourself. You need others to tell you what to believe and go along with it like the good little sheeple you are.
