Ed Schultz was there for one main reason: the run up to the 2012 election. He was really good at getting "the base" excited. They didn't want to burn out the audience so after the election, they pulled him back. I expect him to return to his slot in 2015.

Any show that is on every day is all about the personality of the host. And personality starts with having one. Plenty of people don't like Ed Schultz, including liberals, but he is engaging.

I've started watching Chris Hayes regularly. He's much better at the job than I thought he would be. He leads the best discussions of any of the MSNBC talk shows.

Crazy Al suspended. Will anyone realize?

Actor suspended after confronting TV reporter

Alec Baldwin’s “Up Late” program will not air tonight or next Friday on MSNBC in the wake of comments the actor made while dealing with reporters seeking to question him about a salacious court case in which he is involved.

“I did not intend to hurt or offend anyone with my choice of words, but clearly I have – and for that I am deeply sorry,” Baldwin said in a statement posted on MSNBC’s website

A paparazzi punk was harassing his wife and kids. Baldwin chases the guy away and as the guy flees, Baldwin calls him, among other things, a cocksucker.

This is picked up by a cell phone, and the press builds this up to be "anti gay language."

Ridiculous.

Another MessNBC loon in the shitter...

MSNBC's Martin Bashir apologizes for offensive Palin remark

MSNBC commentator Martin Bashir issued an apology on Monday for suggesting that someone should defecate on former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

The remark, which Bashir made on his MSNBC program, sparked a firestorm of criticism. Bashir was responding to a comment Palin made in which the former Alaska governor compared the U.S. debt to slavery.

I'm offended that Bashir apologized.

That said, shitting on Palin would be a complete waste of manure; that bitch will never grow.

I'd love to see Michelle take a shovel to the noxious Palin weed. I bet we could make bank with pay-per-view.

Ah yes, right wing beauty queens...

The difference is that Cupp can think but won't, while Palin wants to think but can't.

"Right wing beauty queens for $100, Alex."

"This leggy right wing babe once suggested we should invade Muslim countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity."

Hey if it's a good enough distraction for the 11th century Catholic Church
