Justice Abrahamson's thoughts on Roberts' ACA decision

Those interested in the constitutional role of the USSC and in Justice Roberts' ACA opinion might find these remarks by state justice Shirley Abrahamson of interest. She finds Roberts' opinion very much in line with fundamental principles describing the limits of the judicial branch, and says

The chief justice's basic principles will long be remembered and should guide fair, neutral, impartial and nonpartisan judges.

As one who found Roberts' decision courageous I appreciated re-reading the list of principles he offered, a list which has been overlooked in the avalanche of commentary that mostly has addressed the political implications of his decision.

However history judges his decision, the principles themselves are conservative in the finest sense of the term.

What did Justice Abrahamson say that wasn't boilerplate?
