What's your favorite obama lie?

Postby Cornbread » Sun Jul 15, 2012 6:04 pm

I know there's a lot of them....well, four pages...here

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter ... se-broken/

What's your favorite obama lie/broken promise?

Mine is not allowing lobbyists access to the white house.
They are overrunning it so badly, they should have a chicago toll booth there to skim even more money.

Oh, and if no lobbyists were able to come to the white house, how would vice president biteme's two lobbyist kids ever come to visit?

Yours?

Once again, this thread could die a quiet death, if you people would just stop feeding the troll.

So, I saw a little bit of the last Brewer's game. Man, they really fucked that one up, eh?

Once again we see that the liberals simply aren't allowed (by order of their union bosses) to speak ill of Dear Leader.

That doesn't work Det 'cause then you just bump up the thread title.

I think a good solution is:

- don't respond in any way
- if the OP makes consecutive posts, the Admin deletes the thread

That's a good idea, bdog, but I have the only two posts telling people about the awesomeness of Skyrim. I was even considering letting people know that they just released an add-on, but I feel like I'm talking to myself. The whole thread would be three posts, all by me.

But seriously, Skyrim is fucking awesome.

I'll bite--I've seen other people talking about Skyrim, but I don't know squat about it. Of course, I've never played any online games, don't know anything about D&D, and have a short attention span for quests (well, except for JourneyQuest--that's damn funny).

So you might have to start out kind of basic. What is it and why do you like it?

Sign the Employee Free Choice Act, making it easier for workers to unionize

That is my favorite Obama lie so far.

At least his untruthfulness did some good this time!

My wife bought it and got vertigo. Seriously. She can't play it longer than ten minutes without nausea. She gave it to me but I haven't installed it yet. Which is odd because I really liked Oblivion.

Close the Guantanamo Bay Detention Center

That is another one of my favorites. Good thing he didn't follow through on this promise.

Did anyone attempt (in the heat) to spend time at the Art Fairs, on or off the Square? Saw some good art, some atrocious items. Could not afford any of it. How does one support the arts on a limited budget?

Do I really have to narrow it down to just one favorite lie?

No, not this year. Usually I manage to get out at least once, maybe towards the end of the last day to see if anything's on sale, but this weekend was just too full.

I suppose it might have been different this year but I've never gone and not found SOMETHING I liked that only cost ten or twenty bucks.

Well there was that handmade ranger belt with the worked nickel buckle. That was fifty bucks. But damn it looks good.

As if our economy isn't bad enough already! Lucky for us Obama was lying when he made this job-killing promise.
