We Are Wisconsin, one of the liberal groups engaged in the campaign, announced to supporters it still plans to hold a march to unify behind the Dem nominee. It will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Library Mall on the UW-Madison campus and head toward the Capitol.

Not up in arms but, yes, I was opposed to those recall efforts. I also opposed the impeachment of President Clinton (although I believe he was a serial sexual harasser).

Where are the Walker rallies? I'm talking about Wisconsinites turn out in numbers, not just rich donors who turn out in dollars.

You don't like it? Change the statutes that allow it. They were written by and for the benefit of Democrats. Kind of a bitch now that the shoe is on the other foot, huh?

I predict (but I'm not betting) that you'll find one big rally for Walker - Wisconsinites turning out in massive numbers - on June 5.

Do you really know that little about our government? It is a (very conservative) U.S. Supreme Court ruling that says such restrictions violate the First Amendment rights of donors and their groups. Defend that, if you can.

From the article:

Walker cannot use donations above the normal $10,000 limit for campaign expenses during the actual election period -- from March 30 through June 5. He has to use the money for expenses related to challenging the recall drive, which ran from Nov. 15, 2011 to March 30, 2012.

Emphasis mine. That law is moot right now. Nice try though.

OMG! Two million! How on earth is Walker gonna be able to withstand THAT!

Proof positive that union busting isn't enough. We have to imprison people for joining one. It's the only way to make sure the only ones with any political money are Republicans.
