$17 Million from Out-of-State?

Postby Meade » Fri May 04, 2012 2:43 pm

No. Every penny of it from inside the state of Wisconsin - from Wisconsin taxpayers.

That's the total estimated cost of the recall elections.

Thanks, recall petition signers. How courageous. How generous... you are... with other people's money.

Only a small amount. The rest comes from everyone else whether they like it or not. Just so you can have your special little election.

Because you're special.

Luckily, no fake candidates are running and causing extra elections, so we can keep the costs to a minimum.

I have an idea. Walker had 25 million as of last week and more comin in every day.

He could pay for the entire election, including those fake Democrats, and still have 8 million left over to advertise how much he had saved the state outa the goodness of his happy heart!

It's a win win!

So instead of signing the recall petition, I'm supposed to lay down and take it?

Of course. Who cares if it's part of our laws.

By the way, that 17 million is probably less than a dollar per taxpayer. GODDAMMIT, I want my fucking dollar back.

Was this estimate created by the same people who estimated the costs to repair "damage" to the Capitol and grounds?

Aw ... poor little Meade. You're out less than the cost of one of those home enema kits you can pick up at Walgreens, which is what I'd recommend to wash that bug out your ass, crybaby.

I feel for you. My annual household income is down about $8K since Walker rammed through his plan to steal from the working class and give to his rich cronies. We're all paying for this idiot's incompetence and heavy-handedness. The difference is you won't even notice it when you file your taxes next year.

So suck it and choke, you pissy little fuck.

I realize my logic is a little flawed here, but let me just get something off my chest. The cost of the recall election: $17 million. Walker's war-chest: $25 million. So Walker has 25 million to spend on defending his position as governor in Wisconsin -- a profit for the taxpayers of 8 Million. Huh, it seems to me this recall election is the ONLY thing to happen because of the Walker administration that has been financially positive for the taxpayers of our state.

So....You're welcome, Meade. This 8 million net profit for the state is on us. No charge. We just get to do a little spring cleaning in return.

I'm curious where the $17M figure came from.
