Joe the Plumber

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that he was the republican primary winner, but it still makes me puke a little bit in my mouth. Anyhow, this should be an interesting race. Check out this CNN interview. The end is the best:

Given the district, this guy is probably toast. It's gonna be fun to watch him embarrass himself as he goes down.

I think I saw him at Woodman's yesterday. Actually, I think I saw four of him. And two more at the gas station. Come to think of it, I see about a dozen Joe the Plumbers every time I go to Menard's, and they must all be getting ready to appear on CNN because every one of them is wearing a zippered sweatshirt.

Well, he's not going to actually win the election. But that's hardly the point.

If he follows in the Palin school of Advanced Griftology, he should be able to hit up a bunch of rubes for cash as part of his campaign to fight the liberal menace. Right now his team is probably putting together a 'report' that shows that Marcy Kaptur is 'the most liberal member of congress'. If he plays his cards right he might even get a gig on FOX.

Beats working.

This is just the opening act for his inevitable book tour.

By "If he plays his cards right" you mean "if he doesn't drop dead in the next month or so," right?

I'm surprised that noboy has discussed the fact that Kookie is kaput. I guess he can spend more time chasing that hot, young wife of his around.

Ned, are you familiar with the term gerrymandering?
