“Leaplings" or "leapers" like Gioachino Rossini, happy birthday to you!
Also realted to Rossini and for the kids in all of us, a nice article on how Google creates the “Google” anime. I really dug the Les Paul one back on his B-day:http://digitallife.today.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/02/29/10539267-google-doodle-twofer-leap-year-cartoon-opera-composer

Pjbogart [and other forons], do you like the author Don DeLillo?
He’s one of my favorite contemporary American authors thanks to the guidance of another great mentor of mine, my college advisor. He gave me the space to figure things out on my own, but he was there for me when I needed him. A great man indeed. I mentioned the other big “D” in my prev. post in the Living room, and here he is again in DeLillo’s short story. And I think that DeLillo mentions Wittgenstein too, so I thought of you last week when I read it, twice, for the first time. It’s from 2009 though, so maybe you already know of it?

Vinny P: I read you lean to the Right as an independent. I have voted Green Party in the past, so I bet we share some common interests.
