Tammy and Iraq funding

Postby bmasel » Wed Mar 21, 2007 3:39 pm

The Green Bay Press-Gazette has her undecided on the Pelosi/Obey package, which would fund the war through Oct. '08, with strings which may or may not be enforceable. I just called Rep. Baldwin's DC office, suggested she introduce a substitute, funding only through Oct. 1st of this year.

Inspired by Cong. Ryan's (R. Janesville)remarks that he'd give the President one last chance, of 4-6 months
Ryan: ""This whole thing is a big gamble, but it's probably the best gamble to take before throwing in the towel and allowing sectarian genocide to take over," said Ryan, who was visiting Iraq for the first time. "I personally give this three to six months to find out."

Better than appropriating through Bush's term, call Ryan's bluff.

Please reinforce with calls to Tammy's offices. Madison: 258-9800, or better, DC (202) 225-2906

The PG is never right about anything.
I live in GB, and the paper's forum is full of mistakes corrected by readers.

To prove my point, a newspaper usually reflects the local population. The PG has not endorsed the winning President since 1984.
Yes, 23 years of WRONG.

The Mark Green endorsement was a copy & paste from his website. So what happened?
Mark Green didn't even win his hometown!
He lost Green Bay and Brown County.

Ben, don't take the PG verbaitum.

The Hill also lists Tammy as undecided.
