Is Tommy actually running?

Seriously. There are at least nine officially declared Republican candidates; of those nine, Tommy is polling 11th. He's doing so little, it's hard to believe he's even angling for VP or a sweet private-sector job. Did he just want to put "Ran for President" on his resume?

Tommy's past will get published loud and clear.
Someone from within the party will show some corruption thing, like his appointing Zeigler to the bench for her father in laws hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations.

He appointed her almost immediately after the election, and probably promised her papa-in-law something for her, when he wins re-election.

It will be hard for the american taliban to get behind Tommy (especially when the nun stories start making the rounds). Without the christian right, he is just another moderate republican. Hell, by today's standards he's practically a Rockefeller Republican!
