The green and yellow shoe lace pompoms indicate otherwise.

Well, there will probably be slightly less PEDs than a bike race.

Wisconsin football celebrates Packers win, except for one sad Bears fan. Watch his heart break, then savor it again in slow motion.

Not only did the Pack beat the Bears for the NFC North title, but the Cowboys lost and didn't make the playoffs. A great Sunday for football.

Ned, did you know Farley at Edgewood H.S.?

It was definitely an incompetence off, that's for sure. But the Pack survived ... hopefully Rodgers will be a little less rusty next week and the special teams won't suck quite as bad.

Rather than hope for the special teams to not "suck quite as bad" perhaps it would be wise to plan ahead. All punts get booted out of bounds. All of them. Kick coverage cost us the Steeler's game and almost cost us the Bear's game. Fire the coach. Now. How could not having a coach be any worse than giving up 40 yards on every kick/punt return?

Good idea, PJ. They certainly should have been keeping the ball away from Hester Sunday and they just kept kicking it to him.

Capers can go after the season too, as far as I'm concerned. Yes, there have been a lot of injuries, but the defenders who are on the field appear utterly unprepared at times.

Yeah he doesn't seem able/willing to make adjustments and he isn't fooling anyone like he used to. I'd be fine with someone from the Capers/LeBeau school of D coordination though. Keep the 3-4, it's fun and we have the personnel.

I'm also worried that the Packer defense will have trouble against the run, especially with Kapeernick's read option moves.

I'm really hopin' that Lacy's feeling good on Sunday. The Pack needs to use the weather to their advantage as much as possible. Starks had a few good playoff games several years ago, so he needs to contribute too.

Defensively, Matthews had it right when he laid Kappie out in the first game. Definitely a cheap shot, but it set the tone for the game. Need to play tough against the Niners from the first play.

Limit boneheaded ST and 3rd down plays and they may have a chance.
