This could be an interesting protest but it probably won't be shown on TV.

"(CNSNews.com) - Although an Occupy Wall Street protest group in Pasadena, Calif., tried to get a slot to march in the Rose Parade on Jan. 2, officials with the parade said no. The group now plans to march down the street behind a group of police cars that mark the end of the parade."

Protesters will walk the parade route after the floats and marching bands have passed. The group has been working with police and Tournament of Roses officials on how not to disrupt the parade."

I caught some the Occupy parade this morning via live-streaming.

The octopus was awesome!

The octopus, said activist Mark Lipman of Los Angeles, represents Wall Street's stranglehold on political, cultural and social life, with tentacles "that reach into your pocket to get your money and a tentacle to get your house."
