Where are the best places in the Madison area to take a nice autumn stroll?

I haven't been down there in years, but the Campus Lakeshore path out to Picnic Point used to be great as the colors turned.

The Arboretum is always nice, as well.

The Pheasant Branch Conservancy in Middleton is always a good choice. The view from Frederick's Hill is well worth the climb.
