Hmmm. Nobody predicted giving up 873 yards in penalties?

That was my second guess.

I'm resisting the urge to crow...

I was amazed at how calm Rodgers remained throughout the game. The guy just quickly and methodically dumped off for 7-8 yard gains every time the pocket collapsed around him. He's got to be some zen master. Fortunately for the Bears, their defense pretty much eliminated any yards after catch. Cutler, on the other hand, was hyperventilating most of the game and seemed constantly on the verge of losing it big time. I honestly believe one of the biggest plays was that nasty blow to his head late in the game that seemed to focus him down the stretch. He showed a little steel to go with his fire. I watched the game with other Bear fans and there was never a point, even with the final kickoff and 4 seconds on the clock, that we thought the game was in hand. Post-Grossman-Stress syndrome - the ability to somehow snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

"Aw gee Wally, we sure had some penalties tonight."

Ward needs to be harder on the Beaver.

That final kick return play was more hilarious than the debut episode of Outsourced.
