2010 NFL Predictions

Postby fisticuffs » Wed Sep 08, 2010 1:05 pm

It's about that time. The Saints and Vikings kick off tomorrow night. Foron Fantasy teams will be set this evening. Any thoughts/predictions for the upcoming season?

I predict the Packers going 15-1 losing the last game of the regular season by sitting their starters. Winning in the playoffs at home and trouncing the Baltimore Ravens in Dallas. Final score 77-6. Or something like that. Cutler will have his skull crushed in week 1 by the Lions rookie Suh. Brent will have an awful horrible embarrassment of a season. Leading the league in both interceptions and Wrangler Jeans commercials.

Superbowl will be Packers 48, Colts 45, in overtime.

Vegas odds are 12 to I that the Pack wins the Super Bowl.

I'm hopelessly fascinated with Favre and his legacy on the field, so got to pull for the old man which means Vikes take NFC in my storybook world with a 13-3 record. I'm not sure how much the backfield umpire thing is going to mess with Peyton Manning's mind and running their offense, but will go with the Colts in the AFC. Storybook ending (or nightmare ending for you Favre haters)...Vikes 30 vs. Colts 24...Favre can finally retire with complete peace of mind.

More predictions. Aaron Rodgers will lead the league in passing TD's and interesting facial hair (sorry Jared Allen).
