Prince ain't goin' nowhere, but I wouldn't be shopping for real estate in the 414 if I were Corey Hart.

...maybe time for a little run at the division title...or at least a .500 season? So far it's been a wacky one. My hopes are up, once again, but I'm braced for them to be dashed, once again. Alas, Uecker is back in the booth...and I contend this whole debacle began with his heart ailment, a metaphorical one for the team. Now that his heart's mended, the team's playing with a little heart. If nothing else, they have the opportunity to salvage some respectability and build for next year.

It's actually starting to look like the reverse is more likely. Corey Hart chose a terrible time to get injured, which might motivate the Brewers to move Prince. The bankrupt Rangers are now thought to be in play; if the Crew ships Fielder along with the rest of this year's salary to Texas, that might be the only way they can get fair value in prospects in return.

Maybe next year. Take on the Crew in 2011 by an ESPN blogger (self-described as Jack Moore, Disciples of Uecker).
