I felt a little bad for B.H. after he whiffed on two straight fast balls. It seems like he's a full second behind on them. I think Schroeder commented that Hall was looking for Dale Sveum to give him some answers.

Bill Hall should get some advice from this kid on how to handle a bat.

Never in a million, billion years did I think I'd be able to post a statistic like this:

Bill Hall: .804 OPS
Ryan Braun: .806

It's scary to think the Red Sox would be absolutely screwed if they didn't sign Bill freakin' Hall. Baseball can be a strange, strange game.

Weird, I was just thinking about this last night too. When the RS got Cam I was genuinely excited, but Billy Hall has made the difference. 15 HRs in 235 ABs? WTF. Its all because I put my Brewers Bill Hall (1st game at Miller Park) bobblehead on display in my office when I got back from Boston's Opening Day this year...

Well, isn't it his free agent year again? That's historically the only time he ever performs ... if there's a payday looming.

Pretty much. I think the Sox have a team option, but it's too expensive for them to pick it up. They're the beneficiaries of the exact same dynamic with Adrian Beltre, too.

I know I am of the mind that they should try to sign Beltre but its likely an outlier year. Only if they can't get Agonz...
