Badger hoops vs. Michigan: Paying attention?

Postby jjoyce » Wed Dec 31, 2008 2:50 pm

Looking good on the road so far with strong contributions from Landry and Leuer. If I read ESPN's GameCast right, they've had ten guys on the floor in the first half with scoring from seven of them.

Not bad.

Up 11 at the half on the road against a ranked conference opponent. I'll take that any day.

I wish I were watching this, because I've never been able to follow Gamecast for basketball all that well. I like the stats I see so far, except for the number of fouls. I'm just used to the Badgers fouling so seldom in comparison to their opponents.

Looks like Hughes came out of the locker room on fire. Badgers have let since 14 seconds into the game. Lookin good to me. If I know a Bo Ryan team this is how its done.

Sixth straight (!) conference opener win. 16 each from Landry and Hughes, 12 from Leuer, 9 with 4-4 from the line from Krabby.

Gamecast is a nice companion, but when I'm strapped to the desk, as I am today, Lepay is exceptional on the radio. I only wish his sidekick was Mike Kelley instead of Lucas.

73-61 Final. Based on the stats it looks like they did quite well, but I still don't like to see 18 fouls and i especially don't like Landry fouling out.

That's the Big Ten. And with Krabby, Nankivil, Leuer, Landry, Gullikson... I like their chances in a physical game.

I hear what you're saying, and I didn't have a chance to see or listen to the game so I don't really know what kind of fouls they were, but I am used to seeing the other team in foul trouble.
