Gallardo pitched really well considering his defense couldn't pick him up. No E-8 btw. Hamels is throwing aspirins.

Looks like they took weeks out. Can they just keep him out permanently? Like into next season. anyways Gamecast is pretty bogged down. Gotta go old school yahoo boxscore for this one it would appear.

And Counsell already pays off with a hit.

Well, I was hoping maybe the Brewers would remember how to hit after getting that playoff monkey off their backs. So much for that idea.

Swinging at bad pitches, but this guy is tough. Yeah the Counsell double switch worked out right away, too bad they wasted that opportunity. Got the radio and gamecast, its definitely way too slow just to be relying on the 'puter.

Looking at the matchup, the Brewers were in trouble from the start. Especially when they spot the Phils 3 unearned. Gotta hope for a bullpen collapse (Lidge-gulp) if Hamels doesn't pitch a CG.

2 for 26 no runs with an inning to go. Glad I'm not actually watching.

Yeah I snuck out to the demo room to watch the last out. That was the pitch to hit. Oh well. On the bright side it's the 1st playoff loss in 26 years.
