Four big games this weekend

Postby Henry Vilas » Sat Sep 27, 2008 1:54 pm

Today, Badger football and the Brewers. Tomorrow Packers and Brewers. And they overlap both days. Glad my TV has picture within a picture and that I've stocked up on beer.

So what will you be watching?

Watching both games right now, crazy to see Lilly mowing down the Crew and Sheets trying his best, but it not being enough. The Badgers seemingly have no worries.

Reverse both statements.

On HD, yeah. It came back at some point in the fourth quarter, but the regular broadcast appeared to be fine the whole time.

Also, Sabathia needs to be given a lot of money to stay in Milwaukee.

I second that.

So where will Sheets end up?

Sheets can go. I'd pay extra taxes to keep CC around.

Both will be gone, but hopefully CC's arm will hold up in October. Last year under a similar scenario, he broke down in the playoffs.

You're lucky. Nothing worse than watching the Badgers pull defeat from the jaws of victory.

Rodgers lasted longer than I thought he would this season. What is that... six regular season games played in (career) and three injuries?

An ironman he is not...

The O line got worked over. Tough to watch.

The entire Badger coaching staff should be hanging their heads in shame. They played the second half to NOT LOSE, not to win. That strategy never works.

That "roughing the QB" call was really the turning point in the Badger game. Those kind of calls always seem to happen in the "Big House".

What about the man downfield on the 2 point conversion. Never did see a replay.

Travis Beckum was lined up illegally on the play, resulting in the penalty.

Thanks, I was watching this at home and when I left to go to a wedding reception it was 19-0. Then every time I snuck out into the lobby it was getting worse. Then I walked out in the lobby just in time to see what I thought was the Badgers tying it up at 27. I was shocked when I went back to check out OT and saw Michigan running out the clock up by 2.
