The 20th anniversary of the game will be the first time a retired player graces the cover.

That's awesome but will he be in the game? I've always been a 2K Sports man myself. The Madden games lack in comparison. Damn you EA and your exclusive license!

I'm sure he'll be in one of the special teams, all Madden teams, or classic teams. Whether you'll be able to put him back in the Pack, I don't know.

Sorry to hijack the thread with the ESPN list but here's what I don't get. The Colts total out to 145 Avg 18.125 The Pack 73 Avg 9.125. They beat them head to head in 6 of the 8 categories? WTF?!!!

David Letterman just showed the Madden cover at the end of the segment with Favre.

I guess we'll see how powerful the Madden Curse really is. If I'm #4, I'm staying away from any heavy farm equipment for the next year.

Tell that to Troy Polamalu. The curse is alive in 2010.

Be extra careful going over the middle, Larry Fitzgerald.
