Are the Dodgers Back?

Postby Dulouz » Mon Nov 05, 2007 3:47 pm

Here come the Dodgers!

Amazing. Not only do they get Torre, but "the last Yankee", Don Mattingly follows (his son is in the Dodgers farm system). Of course, Larry Bowa adds the Cubs factor, but hey. . . .

It will be interesting to see if the owners open their checkbook and give Torre a team. It would really be incredible to see this once cutting edge team return to dominance.

I wonder if he remembers how to do a double-switch?

And when did Tommy Lasorda become Tom Lasorda?

Dodgers back? No, they're still in L.A.

But wouldn't that be something?
