You think Maryland's bad? I'm at work, and can't see the game, but Davidson isn't awful; they've only lost once since Thanksgiving.

Stanford, however, is getting the bejeesus kicked out of them by Louisville.

My first round upsets:
Purdue
Old Dominion
Winthrop
Holy Cross
VCU
Michigan State
Texas Tech
Xavier
Albany

Some of those are only upsets because the NCAA selection committee says they are. Shoot, maybe I should just post my brackets, a la Rick Majerus.

No, I've got others (VCU, Winthro). This was to be the biggest, though. Oh well.

The best game of the morning wasn't blacked out.

I only have a few higher seeds winning in the first round:

Purdue
Illinois
VCU
GWU
Texas Tech

I have 5 lower seeds advancing into the sweet sixteen, though, with the most overrated #1 seed getting knocked out.

True,it's just that if I'm watching online, what are the odds that I have a TV flickering nearby? Pretty slim I'd say. And the whole point is to be able to flip between games, imnsho.

I picked Winthrop too. After the way they played against us, it was easy. Of course I have no idea how they played after that.
