I need to add that I understand that there is a lot of luck involved. Literally every quirk, bad break, and close game has gone my way. I wish I had also picked Powerball numbers on the day I filled out my bracket.

In any case, not a bracket killer.

Who has the Badgers beating Villanova?

I did. My only bracket is the madison.com one. At the moment I'm ranked #1 with a 33-1 record. Got to enjoy it while I can. Florida State is harshing my buzz.

Awesome!

Down to 37-3. Really surprised at how poorly Virginia played.

I'm glad she doesn't play for Villanova's men's team.

Down goes Duke! Wisconsin with two very winnable games to make it to the Final Four. Giddyup.

I hate Duke. The loss dinged my bracket a little, but I was happy about it anyway.

The senior class has more tourney wins than Iowa, Minnesota, and Illinois combined in the last 20 years. Suck it, rivals.

Does this mean UW is a better college than U of Iowa, Minnesota, and Illinois? If those other places had better basketball teams would you want to move there? It's just a game.

Hope you're right. Beware...Florida can shoot the shit out of threes and any team that beats duke isn't a pushover. It is doable, but they better not pencil their selves into the finals like V did. And Bucky has to Gard against a let down after beating No.1. Go Buckster go.

Florida was just slightly better than Wisconsin in three-point percentage this year, and not at the level of Villanova or VA Tech. They don't have a ton of size, or a dominant player. I don't think our style of play is a great matchup for Baylor or S Carolina, either.

That said, we'd better play like we have recently, versus the rough stretch near the end of the season, or it's over. I just like our chances better with Duke out of the tourney.

FWIW, someone on ESPN reseeded the Sweet 16 and has the Badgers at #3, behind Kansas and North Carolina.

I think UW has the easiest path to the Final now...subject to change, but for now....

UW is the last big 10 team still playing.

Wisconsin, Florida governors propose friendly wager before Badgers-Gators game

"Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker bet Florida Gov. Rick Scott cheese curds from Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery and Haribo Gold-Bear gummi candy that the Badgers would win, while Scott bet Walker some Kermit's Key West Key Lime Pie that Florida will win."

Honestly, they need to change the rules or simply instruct refs that shooters who lean into an airborne blocker are called for a charge. I mean, that last foul of the half was just plain stupid. The Florida player INITIATED the contact in order to earn three free throws. That shouldn't be allowed.
