Message to Florida?

If it's news, but not politics, then it goes here.

Message to Florida?

Postby roadkill bill » Sat Sep 25, 2004 1:38 pm

With four hurricanes hitting Florida this year - the most to hit a single state in over 100 years - is there a message?

you are asking the wrong question..

it is not about IF there is a message but WHICH message it is about...

maybe this can help you:

What a killjoy.

Besides, it's still four hurricane in one season. Pretty weird stuff.

Even if you don't believe in this being a message about politics, there is a pretty clear message about building on sand at the edge of the ocean.

I feel really bad for the folks in mobile homes who lost everything, but can't muster a tear for those million dollar condos that fell into the surf. Hasn't anyone ever taken a basic earth science course?

Of course, here at home we still have people building on FLOODPLAINS and then being shocked, SHOCKED when their houses are hit by .... wait for it....FLOODS!

what about the fact that two other narrowly-decided states, iowa and new mexico, had fatalities and property damage from dust/sand storms earlier this year?
