Can Weiner Lick New Revelations?

If it's news, but not politics, then it goes here.

Maybe we got Weiner all wrong, maybe that's just the way he signs his name.

Ned probably gets a bonus from his bosses for the thread title but somebody has been working even harder:

Ok I'm just now realizing that it's "Carols Danger" and not "Carlos Dangler", which disappoints me greatly. Freud FTW.

The only thing I lament in this whole fiasco is that Jon Stewart isn't around to capitalize on this moment.

Yes, Weiner could still win.

That being said I would not vote for him.

On a serious note, neither would I. Although if he were running against Walker for anything.....sorry, not serious. Weiner's a tool. So to speak.

Or, as Colbert tweeted,

@StephenAtHome: 2NITE ON TCR!: "This new photo of Anthony Weiner is only the tip of the iceberg. Well, and some of the shaft." @ColbertReport, 11:30pm

Bubba warns Weiner to pull out...

Now even top aides to President Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton are calling for Anthony Weiner to pull out of the race for New York mayor — but the former congressman hardened his stance Sunday that he would fight on amid scandal and the departure of his campaign manager.

“At this point, it’s absurd. He is not going to be the next mayor of New York. He is wasting time and space,” Democratic strategist David Axelrod, who guided Obama to victory twice, said on NBC’s “Meet The Press.”

Well, the Republicans pressured Larry Craig to get out, and all he did was take a wide stance.

Hooma the enabler?

"Serial sexter Anthony Weiner’s wife partly blamed herself last year when her horndog husband confessed to her that he was at it again.

Friends and family told People magazine that Huma Abedin was kicking herself at the time for bailing out of couples counseling and focusing more on their newborn baby boy"

I'm back to acknowledge that I have completely changed my position, and you are absolutely correct about Weiner. The first few days of explanations were fine, but over the last week he's proven himself to be nothing more than an ugly ego with a big mouth. As snoqueen mentioned elsewhere: a blowhard.

Mr. Weiner should focus on being Mr. Abedin; Huma is the real star in the family.

People who want to whine about Wiener, Filner, and Spitzer and might want to consider that they are all in or running for term-limited offices last I checked, offices that in the past were filled with political and intellectual giants from both and other parties with names like La Guardia, O'Dwyer, Koch, Golding, Lindsay, Wilson, Bloomberg, Impelleteri, Giuliani and so on. The wages of term limits is this or worse. I wonder if the smart alecks who thought term limitation was a panacea can look at this and even have the lesson register. It's possible but I doubt it.

Boy, that's a reach. Weiner and Spitzer were both in non-term-limited offices when they succumbed to their urges.

BTW, it pains me to see Spitzer lumped-in with those other two clowns. I found Spitzer's immorality relatively forgivable, and he is otherwise very talented and effective.
