A WPR announcer repeated this on air this afteroon. I guess the language does seem plausible given what the Rs have been up to.

Be careful. Misquoting could get you ousted, I hear.

Believe it or not that's an improvement. Channel3000 originally identified the Stoughton victim as Andrea Maniss, the woman who was hit on East Wash. in Madison on Aug. 8th.

Slightly off topic, since this headline needs absolutely no help:

Britney Spears music is being used to scare off Somali pirates

Breathtaking aerial photograph of city goes viral in Madison.

http://host.madison.com/news/local/brea ... 963f4.html

It's a nice photo but it's not news. Especially top 4 stories news, as it's been since yesterday afternoon.

I wonder how many adults out there have gone up to another adult at work or wherever and said, "Did you see that photo of the city on twitter? Things gone viral!"

Actually, I don't want to know.

Channel 3000 does it again:

Police: Man threatens woman who rear-ended him with bat

(THE REST OF THE STORY:)

35-year-old denied arming himself with bat to yell at woman, officials say

I would imagine that rear-ending someone with a bat would be significantly more effective than yelling at them with a bat. I mean, who could hear the yelling, aside from other bats?
