Rove and Miers: Tacit admission of guilt

Postby Chuck_Schick » Tue Mar 20, 2007 2:30 pm

Breaking news from CNN at this hour:

CNN wrote:The White House will allow key presidential aide Karl Rove and former counsel Harriet Miers to be interviewed by committees probing the firings of U.S. attorneys, but they will not testify under oath, Rep. Chris Cannon says.

Why is the Bush administration so freakin' pussy when it comes to placing the proverbial hand on the Bible and telling it like it is? Funny, they thump that book at every turn when it means decrying homosexuality or abortion.

What a load of chickenshit. Here come the subpoenas, folks. Fine. If the best we can do is catch all these scumbags in the act of perjuring themselves ... well, I guess I can live with that.

Here comes the subpoena's, that were decided last weekend.
This 'offer' from Bush is useless, but a standard response.

Now refusing to honor the subpoena, is where is will get interesting.
That is a felony, or as some call it a high crime.
