I'm not native to WI and haven't seen much of the state outside of Madison. In doing research for a short story I'm writing, I need to visit some local(ish) cemeteries. An hour or so drive each way is fine. I know I need to see the "omg the bleeding statue" one in Okonomowoc, but what others are noteworthy, and why?
Also, I am aware that a book was just released on this subject (Badger Boneyards), but I am too cheap to buy it.
What are the things that puzzle, enrage, delight and tickle you as you go about your life in Madison?
