While I was scraping the ice off my sidewalk this morning, I noticed that my female elderly across-the-street neighbor was similarly engaged. A city plow goes by. A few minutes later I look down the street and notice the plow has stopped. Seemed odd. Then I saw that the driver had left the plow, and was busy hacking away at the ice on my neighbor's sidewalk. Kept at it for a good 20 minutes.
He certainly didn't have to do that. With all the hard feelings with public employee compensation and bargaining rights, I felt like I needed to share this.
What are the things that puzzle, enrage, delight and tickle you as you go about your life in Madison?
